Rebecca Turcios

Dr. Turcios received her undergraduate degree at the University of Notre Dame in 2016 and received her doctoral degree from Cornell University in 2021. While in vet school, she specialized in small animal medicine and exotic animal medicine. After vet school, she completed a residency in laboratory animal medicine at the University of Chicago, and previously worked as an emergency and critical care veterinarian.  

She's passionate about teaching, animal behavior, radiology/ultrasonography, and preventative care for pets at all stages of their lives. Outside of work, she enjoys spending most of her time chasing after a toddler, but she also finds time to knit, crochet, read, and hike with her family.
